Workhouse observations note
« on: Friday 14 October 22 23:33 BST (UK) »
Hi can anyone help me read what the second part of this observation is?

The first part says bad eyes, but I can't make out the smaller writing. The entries are made under the column observations of condition at admission and entries all seem to be medical ailments.

Any help is much appreciated thank you. :)

it is much easier when we can have a bigger sample to look at or  the name of the person so we can look for ourselves.

A bigger sample showing the previous lines and the rest of this person's details would be great.

Sorry, the full entry is too long to post in one photograph. It really compromises the ability to read the smaller writing.

The record is on FindMyPast: Liverpool Workhouse, Daniel Logan, aged 67, admitted 1872.

Thank you for posting, Kay!  :) I agree that it appears to be the same word. I initially thought it was injury, or inj something, but I'm not sure at all!  ???

My first thought was "urgent" though I haven't seen it on a workhouse entry before like this.

Thank you for posting, I think it probably is urgent then if two people have reached that conclusion. Thank you all for your help!  :)
