« on: Saturday 15 October 22 11:08 BST (UK) »
Looking for help, on tracing army record of Timothy Kennealy when he was in the 57th fussiliers, his dates of birth vary from 1861 1862 and 1863. In 1901 he was living at 8 Highworth street prior to emigrating to Canada,in 1907,
.on his join up papers for the Canadian expedition force in 1915 he stated he had served 6 years 5 months, with the 57Th fusiliers  Vols,He went  to England with the CEF,then returned back to Canada.on his Canadian papers his age varried by up to ten years,I guess he was desperate to sign up.thanks

In 1901 114 /110/17

He is living with Catherine and their children at 9 Devonshire Place. He is a Bricklayer’s Labourer.
Two children are born in Canada.
Patrick 12 yrs b Ronwell, Canada
Kathleen 10 yrs b Montreal, Canada

So that places him Canada and perhaps the military from 1888, his marriage,  to 1890s.

I can’t see a military record but you could try posting on the Armed Forces board, where someone with more knowledge of military matters could advise.

I know he was in Canada prior to returning to England,I am trying to piece together his 57fusilier service, and if he first went to Canada with them,my nan who was Timothy and Bridget's daughter born 1884 remembers coming home from Canada to London but she never returned to Canada,

The 1901 census shows that he was in Canada around 1890 +/- 2 yrs.
Someone on the Armed Forces board might be able to look at his regiment to see when it was there.

Do you have a date for his time with the 57th Fusiliers?
