1777 Fylingdales marriage witness

Could anyone help me decipher the name of the first witness to this marriage, please?

and it's the marriage of David Pinkney to Mary Thompson (3rd one down on left-hand side).

I have an idea of what I think it might be, but don't want to influence others so would be grateful to hear your suggestions.
