From her burial details in 1985 at the New Municipal Cemetery, Wick, this Barbara looks to be as we had, the wife of Francis/Frank Alexander Henderson (married in 1932 in Inverness).

You are right Monica - the Barbara Henderson who died in Wick in 1985 is not the 'right' one.'
However importantly from this thread I have the place of birth and birth date of 'my' Barbara Henderson - 6 May 1905 Strichen Aberdeenshire.
Have just posted a message on the Facebook page of St Catharine Ontario asking if anyone has any information about the Henderson family - hopefully leading to information about Philip (Thomas) Dorrington.
Thanks to everyone who helped.

St Catharines library may help with obits for the Henderson siblings of Barbara.  You never know, she may get a mention.

Lots of good work on this thread, but I'd like to point out that it's spelled St. Catharines  (an a in the middle and no apostrophe, as well St. is not spelled out).

Thank you - mental block.  You might have to put a few corrections on ancestry   :)
e.g. Canada Voters List -

Residence Date1968
Residence Place Saint Catherines, Ontario, Canada

A few corrections  :o eileen is going to be busy. St Cat. is the most misspelled city in Canada, it has become a bit of thing with the locals, some think it's funny, some not so much. Google Maps couldn't get it quite right, nor most Canadians.

I'm not even that local altho' I do live in Ontario.  Just bothers me when the source material on Ancestry, for example, can't even get it right.
