Causes of Death
« on: Tuesday 08 November 22 15:44 GMT (UK) »
I've attached a cutting from a death register from 1963 and I've managed to obtain most of the cause of death section however I need help with one word which I can't fathom at all.
I'm reading 'Disseminated Carcinoma of Peritoneum ? Unidentified Pulmonary Embolism'.
Just that one word I can't get so any suggestions welcomed.
Thanks as always!

James

Could it be primary unidentified?

Yes, it very well could be. Looking at it through a magnifying glass and it certainly makes sense in the context.
Thanks for taking the time!

Could well be primary.  It presumably hadn't been identified earlier.

There are two causes of death given here, cancer of the peritoneum and pulmonary embolism.
Ashford: Somerset, London
England: Devon, London, New Zealand
Holdway: Wiltshire
Hooper: Bristol, Somerset
Knowling: Devon, London
Southcott: Devon, China
Strong: Wiltshire
Watson: Cambridgeshire
White: Bristol
Windo - Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire

Agreed with the 2 causes and I'm more than happy to close this post and go with 'primary' - it seems to make most sense in hindsight.
Thanks again for your help.
