Thank You. Always appreciate info on the parents , particularly  her mother Alice Walker. Found the Aslett family difficult to research on Ancestry...lot of birth dates wrong...and  wring names.
My wife's grand mother was an Aslett...David

There is a census with an Alice M Walker born in 1896 (only one year of 1897 which is her birth on the 1939 register) in 1911 and she is living in Sussex with parents.

It seems like James and Susan travelled a lot, with all the children being born in different places, I think this may be Alice and her family because her sister is called Kathleen making it more likely that she named her daughter after her little sister. Also the birth date and area which she is living in matches up.

If James and Susan are Alice's parents then this is them and Alice again on the 1901 Census for you:
They are living at a Coast Guard Station in Dale, Pembrokshire, Wales.

Susan H Walker b. 1867 in Geurnsey. Wife of House.
Gladys A Walker b. 1891 in Ilfracombe, Devon.

This also makes sense for this to be your Alice because her sister is called Gladys, meaning she could have used the name Gladys for Kathleen's middle name to honour her sister Gladys.
