Looking for father's name

 b. Sep 1/4 1922 Gladys E Dorrington mmn Hageman - Holborn.

Their mother's name was Lilian Hageman (found her as Lilian Davison on 1939 Register)

I have the marriage of Lilian Hageman to Thomas Philip Dorrington in M 1/4 1922 in Islington.

Without buying Joan and Gladys's Birth Certs is it possible to confirm the name of the father - Thomas  Philip Dorrington on the two Birth Certificates.

Lilian Hageman b. 1896 had May L Hageman in 1917. 
In 1919 Lilian Hagman was with Thomas Philip Dorrington and took his surname.  Joan E Dorrington was born in 1919.
May L Hageman became known as May L Dorrington.

In M1922 Lilian Hagman married Thomas PHILIP Dorrington in Islington (see Freebmd) and later in 1922 Gladys E Dorrington was born.

If freebmd have it wrong and Lilian married a Thomas PIPER Dorrington in 1922 then I'm completely on the wrong track.

Is there any way of finding the name of the father on the Birth Certs of Gladys and Joan D. and confirming the name of Lilians husband when she married in 1922.

In 1939 Lilian Davison is described as a widow - she married George Davison in 1941- presume Lilian was living with, George in 1939.

Thomas Philip Dorrington went to Canada in 1926 - I'm hoping to tie him into the above family.  Thanks.
