Hi Jack,
I am not sure whether you are serious when you say

Its probably turned the family off researching any further!!

Cheers
Jack.

Or whether we are to continue offering information.
However ....

Contrary to the story told in court by Eustace CECIL, he was divorced by his wife Frances in 1902. He had deserted her in 1897, according to  her testimony.

Thanks Sparrat/Sue,
my flipant comment was only to do with the character of James Eustace Cecil.
He is hardly a poster boy for delightful genealogical studies for the Cecil's.
The best you could describe him would be a 'colourful' character.

cheers
Jack

For some reason which I cannot yet find, when Nancy married again within months of Eustace dying, she became Mrs John LINDSAY and this picture and news item with her children (one wrongly named) she states that her son will inherit his father's "large fortune".

Maybe you already know about  this.

Thanks Sue,
was not aware of this.
Probably James Eustace did not change his spots and good to see that she moved on and had some compensation. The others wives were not so lucky.

Cheers
Jack
