Elizabeth Donally Daniel
« on: Tuesday 15 November 22 00:36 GMT (UK) »
Hi I am trying to find info about my ancestor who was born in Tipperary Ireland in 1770 abt and was a part of the Irish Rebellion. She was shipped to NSW Aust and arrived in 1802. She also ended up in Van Diemans land, Port Dalrymple around as she married John Coughlan in 1814 who also was from Ireland and involved in the rebellion. I hope to find records of their conviction and the exact dates she arrived In Van Diemans land and anything else about her in Ireland. Thank you.

How are you descended from Elizabeth Donally Daniel...through which son or daughter?

Can you identify that son or daughter, and give details of that ancestors birth/marriage/death  date and place.

Juliana 1895-1827 m Mark Carey daughter Julia Ann Munroe 1825-1875 M James Rigby 1842.

Where and when did Mark CAREY marry Juliana ***?

This is all I am seeing with the names you have provided.

Linc Name Search   https://www.libraries.tas.gov.au/how-to/Pages/Names-Index-content.aspx

MANROE Julia Ann age 16y  (X) marr.  RIGBY James  age 30y  19 Mar 1842
Witness William HOLMES   William MADDOX

How does any of this connect you to John COUGHLAN and/or Elizabeth Donally DANIEL?

Not certain actually that Juliana and Mark did marry, I haven't found a marriage certificate. Juliana was the eldest daughter of John Coughlan and Elizabeth Donally Daniel who are my 5th great grandparents.

These people are your direct ancestors?   Yes?  No?

MANROE Julia Ann age 16y  (X) marr.  RIGBY James  age 30y  19 Mar 1842

and you are researching the origins of Julia Ann?

"Juliana was the eldest daughter of John Coughlan and Elizabeth Donally Daniel who are my 5th great grandparents."

How have you identified parents for this Julia Ann, married James RIGBY, 1842, Tasmania?

"Why all the questions?"

Because you are using a forum to assist your research.

Contributors to a forum need to know how you have arrived at the information you are giving a forum to work with.

If you have not identified parents for your ancestor Julia Ann age 16y  who married James RIGBY, 1842, Tasmania, then  Elizabeth Donally DANIEL and John COUGHLAN are not relevant to your research.

I can understand that, however, I did identify the parents of Julia Ann who married James Rigby, and they were Juliana Judith Coghlan and Mark Carey. Juliana was the 1st born daughter of Elizabeth Donally Daniel and John Coghlan. I apologise if my previous responses were not clear enough :)
