Baby Robert Matys
« on: Saturday 19 November 22 09:29 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for a person born with the First Name, 'Robert' and with the Surname, 'Matys'. He was born sometime around the 1920s to Stanley and Florence Matys. He died as a baby.

He is buried in a Grave with his parents and Grandparents:

Kernan, Matys, Müller, Werner

Hello, what country would this be in?
I'd guess somewhere in Eastern Europe, but just wanted to double check.  :)

I think I've found the family, are they Polish?
There's a Stanley Matys born 1897 in Bialystok and died in 1951.
His wife was named as Florence ''Meller''? 1894-1978
2 children: Florence Matys born in 1922 and June Matys born in 1929.
No sign of Robert Matys yet, I'll keep looking.
Do you want any information on Stanley and Florence?
If so these are Stanley's parents and siblings I think:
Stanley's parents: Henryk Matys 1868-1927
                           Felicja Szreder 1871-1967
Stanley's siblings: Pauline Matys 1894-
                           Felicja Matys 1901-
(sorry looks like Florence Meller was born in the USA, so maybe not Polish, my mistake)

From the photograph, from Find A Grave, then the location is New Jersey, USA.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

There's a Robert Matys that was born on the 4th of July 1931 and died on the 5th of July 1931 but it was in New York so probably not him.  ???
Although I think Stanley Matys was living in New York in  1915, so maybe a possibility?

Wondering if maybe ''Baby Robert'' could have been Fred and Louisa Mellers son, rather than Stanley and Florence's? Fred and Louisa had a son called Robert, not sure when he died but he could've died as a baby? Or do you know for sure that it's Stanley and Florence's son
Just an idea  :)

No reply from the OP. No answers to any questions.

The OP has “form” of not retuning to his threads. Perhaps consider if you want to spend your valuable time trying to help this person as you’re unlikely to get anything in return.

Interesting to note that according to the records, he was last active on 11th December this year.  So one has to assume that he did read the responses but for whatever reason, chose not to make any reply.
