Welcome to Rootschat

Please could you indicate when she died or when she was born.  I have asked the moderator to move your post to the Monmouthshire board

Marriages Mar 1930

Edith M Edwards/ George  Luce    Pontypool    11a   211

In 1939 they were in Radnorshire - where does the surname Viner feature?

George Luce died 1978 so did they divorce?  No Viner/Luce marriage

There is this marriage but she is Elizabeth M Luce. Pontypool is the correct reg district for Garndiffaith. Not finding another Luce/Viner marriage in area.

Looks likely

Marriages Sep Q 1981
MORRIS    FREDERICK G   - VINER    PONTYPOOL    28   551
VINER    EDITH M   - MORRIS    PONTYPOOL    28   551

Edith M was born 1912 to clarify not living.

So looking for Edith M Morris death after 1981 born 1912

Added: Unless she remarried after Mr Morris.

Peter you can search the GRO index yourself. It is free but you have to register.

https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp

The only Edith May Morris born 1912 died Torfaen area, but only just skimmed through after 1981 so would recheck.

Death Registration
MORRIS, EDITH  MAY  born 1912
GRO Reference:  DOR  Q1/1994 in TORFAEN  (8372B)  Reg B35B  Entry Number 44
