Has anyone used MacFamilyTree10?

It seems it is selling on the Mac App Store for half price between now and December 4th.

If you have a huge Ancestry tree GEDCOM to upload, will it take a lot of space on your Mac?  Or is it stored in iCloud?

@ $35 it could be worth it.

We have Reunion on our iMac, think it retails at about £80.  Very impressed with it especially the Tree printing features.

As for your question, the size depends upon how much media you will link to the software but a reasonably sized Mac should handle it fine.  As it is a Gedcom file is pretty small, its the media you end up adding that increases the total space required.  There is the cloud option which will enable it to be sync’d with an iPad but probably if you have the basic free Cloud storage you will perhaps need a monthly subscription.

I take it that "MacFamilyTree10" is for a Mac only and not a PC.
