Is anyone able to find out which school my father attended?

His name was: Ronald Cyril Withers

DOB: 05/05/1930

Birthplace: Leicester

I tried asking Leicester Library but they couldn't help

Was he living in Leicester during all his school years?  In what area of Leicester did he live?

Was his mothers maiden name Spriggs?  If so - his birth was just registered as Cyril Withers

There is a 1926 marriage between Albert Withers & Sarah A Spriggs in Leicester - www.freebmd.org.uk

Ronald Cyril died in 2000 but if it is the correct parents his 1939 entry is still redacted but if you look it up it will give the address the family were at in 1939 to help trace a school

Yes that is the correct person, my dad Cyril died in 2000
His mother was Sarah Alice Spriggs
And his father was Albert Withers

I did try to look for any census but can't find any

I see that Cyril had four siblings, two older and two younger.

Added: The family are in the 1939 Register but Cyril is closed off along with his youngest sibling.

The 1939 register is not a census & is only available on subscription sites.  Rootschat does not allow info to be posted that can only be obtained by subscription.

Ok I now have the address that my father lived at when he was 9 which is:
58 Watson Road, Leicester
How do I use the address to obtain which school he went to please, sorry for sounding such a novice guys

Have you see Girl Guide's reply above?  You could also try the Leicester FHS who may be able to link the address to the nearest school.
