Welcome to Rootschat C.B. !

'Lancashire on-line parish clerks' have an Anthony Bigland baptised 5 Feb 1767 at St Mary and St Michael, Cartmel, Lancs.
Son of John Bigland.
Taken from the familysearch.org film  number 1040490.
https://lan-opc.org.uk/Cartmel/priory/baptisms_1767-1775.html

Cartmel is about 12 miles from Kendal.

Other baptisms to John Bigland on the same page.
17 March 1772 James, 'son of John'.
5 July 1773, John, son of 'John and Ellen'.
1 Sept 1774, William, son of 'John and Eleanor'.
1781 Margaret, daughter of John and Ellen.
1782 George son of John and Ellanor.

There is a marriage at Cartmel 23 MAr 1771 of John Bigland and Ellen Barrow, which accounts for the 1772 and subsequent baptisms. It looks as though he may have been married before for the 1767 baptism, but nothing else comes up on the name search.
These are transcripts on this site, and you'd need to look at the actual register.
I've only looked quickly at the site - it would pay you to do a much more thorough search of it.

All this found by just putting '"Anthony Bigland" Kendal' into Google search.
You never know what might crop up doing this, and it's an easy, (and free!) way to try and find what might be out there.
You need the inverted commas around the specific thing you're searching for.

Welcome to RootsChat from me too.

The Anthony BIGLAND who died in 1861 registered at Kendal was only 27 years old (according to the GRO). There is a death notice for him:
"On the 10th inst., at Staveley, Mr. Anthony Bigland, sawyer, aged 27 years."
Saturday,  Aug. 17, 1861
Publication: Westmorland Gazette

So I'm afraid you have the wrong death for your Anthony.

Ann BIGLAND death registered Mar qtr 1848 Kendal was 86 years old, so born c1762. I'm assuming this is her in 1841 at "Water house" Kendal (ages were rounded to the nearest "5"):

Ann BIGLAND        75   (Ind)
Ann NICHOLSON  15
(both born in county)

Ann's death notice:
"In Kirkland, Ann Bigland, aged 86"
 Saturday,  Jan. 15, 1848
Publication: Westmorland Gazette

Another possible baptism for Ann SPEDDING - on 21 Jun 1761 at Kendal, father - Joseph SPEDDING.

Modified to add:
Another possible -
Anne SPEDDING 10 Aug 1766, dau of John and Elizabeth SPEDDING at Kendal

Just to clarify for you C B

The chap, named Anthony Bigland you have as dying in 1861 ( not your person as stated) was the son of widowed Margaret born in Lancashire and aged 27 on 1861 UK census.  He was a sawyer, unmarried and lived in Westmorland.

Westmorland Gazette 19 March 1831

On 10th March 1831 at the Parsonage House Martindale, on a visit to the Rev. W P King, ANTHONY BIGLAND aged 64 years of Water House. As a husband and father he was most exemplary ........

It continues for two paragraphs he was apparently a religious man.

His widow Ann was living at Water House on the 1841 census.

As he died suddenly there may not be a will, you could try the County Archives for letters of administration.
