Hi Folks, I have a strange one. A Peter Winn born 1883 Chorley Lancashire marries an Ada. Both appear in the Census of 1911 and so an as peter Winn and Ada Winn (Spouse and mother to two
children). On FreeBMD I find a marriage of Peter 1907 in Chorley Lancashire.
The census says Ada was born in Rochdale about 1886, but a search for Ada turns up nothing and the marriage records on FreeBDM shows two different possibilities.
A search of Ada's born in Rochdale 1886 turns up heaps of Ada's.
I understand that a Volume and Page of the same reference on BMD does not necessarily mean a match, so, who is Ada. This is her census info :

Can Ada be a nickname, maybe for Alice???
