Studley Street?
« on: Wednesday 14 December 22 15:00 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I found this war medal card but I'm struggling with the address. I thought it could be 11 Studley street but I cannot find any record of that street name. Any ideas please?
Thanks, Luke

There is a Studley Street in Oldham in the 1901, 1911 and 1921 censuses and the 1939 register.

Your Lot Butterworth is at number 11 in the 1939 Register !

Unless my eyesight is particularly bad ;D the date on your snippet appears to be 16.12.38 so the year before the 1939 Register was created.

As I posted earlier the occupant of number 11 in the 1939 Register was Lot Butterworth whose medal card that is.
