Hi, I cannot read the occupation (BOTTOM line - top two just shown to aid handwriting deciphering). This is from 1841 and the man was wealthy and a bit of an inventor in the photography field.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids. They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
