AND we'd all be lost without their excellent services.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

No change to our collections, our refuse collectors don't work Mondays anyway so we're not affected by bank holidays. Except I suppose at Easter, I guess they work extra to catch up then and presumably the same this Christmas.

Ours hasn't changed either, a three weekly collection is the norm so I go to the tip at least once a month to avoid a pile of stinking stuff mouldering for too long

Happy New Year everyone.  I am still so tired after that night shift in Friday night even though I fell asleep before the bells.

Happy New Year to everyone. We had an early start ( for us ) of 6.30 am as we had three grandchildren for a sleepover last night and they are early risers!

Happy New Year Everyone! :)

Sorry to hear you got Covid recently Mowsehowse.  Thank goodness you have had jabs.  Hopefully, you will feel totally recovered soon and balance back to normal.
It felt hectic over Christmas.  Had a lovely Christmas meal at work!  Had a wonderful time staying with family over Christmas.
Back at the grindstone now.
I was fast asleep too PT for the bells as I was up for work at the crack of dawn yesterday.  Only an 8 hour shift so I could get buses home as they were to go off early.
I called at M&S at bus station on way home but they had sold out on some things I wanted.  People seemed to be going mad with their shopping.  The shop was packed although not as bad as pre Christmas.  You wouldn't think the shops are only closed one day.
It was raining hard when I went to bed.
