name of McAdams child 1891 Ontario

Trying to confirm name of son highlighted on 1891 Canada census.

Some report this child (outlined in Red in image) as Roy but does not seem correct.  He is not in 1901 census.

The name two above in first image is Robert and in second image attached the name indicated is Ruth Bunn

Unfortunately there are no other words with the same first letter on this page.
You'll have to look further in this census whether the first letter is R or not.

Thanks for the extra snippet. Now we know the first letter is R.
It looks most like Roy, maybe Ray.
If he's absent in 1901, he could have died in those 10 years, or maybe he was just forgotten or not at home at the time of the census (living with family?).

Looks like Roy to me.

As zefiro says, perhaps he died or was absent for the 1901 census.

It was always suspected that Roy was the name but unsure.

Also suspected that he passed between census taking.

Both parents, who passed after Roy, are buried in Siloam Cemetery in London, Ontario as is another child, Ethel May McAdams 1878-1898.  There is a large marker so space for additional names. Odd that Roy is not there as well.  I will visit that cemetery and see if the marker exists for Roy.  Perhaps lost or overgrown as so often happens.  Attempts to find an address for an e-mail or letter to someone who holds the cemetery records have be unsuccessful.
