Hugh Ireland (from Wisbeach)

Hi all.. I am looking for any help /history on my mother's father and mother
Hugh Ireland who married Florence fountain, they had 2 girls June born 1/3/1933 (my mum), who later married John Cook and Pauline, who later married George Bishop all from Wisbeach cambs... Thankyou

and your mom June ,plus one other child.

I haven't got a subscription for the 1921 but he's in the same area

Hugh died June qtr 1969 Wisbech DOB 30 May 1908.Florence 2.5.1977 DOB 29.11.1907 at Fenland .
His birth registration gives his mother's maiden name as Briggs.
There were other brothers Cecil H Ireland  born Mar qtr 1915 ,Frank Sep 1920 and a sister Grace 2.1.1917

Herbert Edward Ireland died Wisbech June 1948 born 1875 and Ruth June 1965.

The couple had married Sep qtr 1900.
1901 they are together at Flower Pot opening ,South End Wisbech St Peter.

Herbert Edward's parents are Charles and Ruth Ireland ,nee Stemp,both  born 1847 in Rudgwick Sussex and Wonersh Surrey general labourer.
Ruth Matilda Briggs parents are John William Briggs born 1853 painter born Wisbech and Ruth nee Langley  born 1851 Terrington Norfolk.

It looks like Florence Victoria Fountain was born in Mitford Norfolk reg Mar qtr 1908 ,mother Alexander.
So perhaps John Fountain 21 s of James married 17 Jan 1906 Wisbeach Margaret Rebecca Alexander 19 d of John Craske Alexander but I can't be sure.

What exactly are you looking for? I can keep going but an idea for what you are after would help.

Wow.. Thanks for all that information it definitely fits.. Just could you confirm if possible the  date or year my nan and grandad got married Hugh Ireland and Florence Fountain.. Also the year she died as 1977 isn't correct because she was in her 90,s and born as you say 1907....thanks again for all you time and input... Regards steve
