Ancestry costs

In December 2021 I paid £89.99 for access to ALL of Ancestry for 12 months, now they are asking £99.99 for just 6 months. I appreciate that it was an offer last year , how do I get a similar reduction now ?

If your subscription has expired then give them a ring and horse trade.

I got Worldwide last July for £89.99 for a full year.

I also just renewed at £89.99 for an Annual Worldwide subscription. I rang them and mentioned that I had seen on Rootschat that others had been offered this (and also UK Annual at £59.99). There was no haggling; the pleasant lady instantly offered me the discounted renewal. Just give them a ring and see how it goes. Good luck.

I have also just paid £89 for a years worldwide subscription to Ancestry. My subscription had expired just before new year and I was sent an email offering a years UK access for £59 - a 50% reduction a few days later.
I phoned Ancestry and asked if I could have the same percentage reduction on a  World subscription and they agreed. They did look at my account though and noted that I have been a member for several years - which is why, I presume,  I got the original email.
I am looking forward to getting started again - I've missed it!
