Alton - Bennett

I appear to have hit a wall -
I am looking for more information on the Parents of Dorothy E Bennett (1907 - abt. 1989)
Dorothy died in Langold, Nottinghamshire but I'm not sure where she was born
She married Richard E Spragg (1904 - 1979)

Her parents were Eliza Alton and Henry Bennett - I have no birth or death year or location

I have found one Eliza Alton born in 1876 but of the children she has listed, I can't find a Dorothy

I'm clutching at straws, theres not much known about this side of the family at all

So it is the Eliza I was looking at after all!

I suspect that the Eliza you were looking at is the one in 1911 with husband Henry who has a son born in America.  In 1901 that Henry has a wife Elizabeth who I suspect is deceased.  The number of years married for Henry and Eliza match what we know.

I wonder if this might be the death entry for Henry’s first wife Elizabeth her age is given as 24 on 1901 census mentioned by Rosie
