Hmm...

There is a marriage between a Winifred Jones, daughter of Maurice Jones, and Thomas Edwin Pike in Birkenhead, Cheshire in 1904. Are you sure you have the right family for your Winifred, who married John Davies?:

Queenie  :)

That marriage has her as age 23 which would tie in.  Father Maurice has occupation Labourer

There are quite a few Pike names in the Cemetery,  perhaps you can work back from those.

the trail from winifred and a marriage goes to a son frederick davies b 1904 in new york.
this is brilliant detective work all. as to me it looks like winifred was maurice jones born as you say 1856. and the father of maurice in roberts b abt 1820. in the 1841 census robert looks to be in Llanrhaiadr with his father henry and mother margaret.

does this check out with you guys please. thank you again.avril

Do you have Frederick’s birth certificate confirming parents names?

Do you have Frederick and his family on any US census? If so, can you post details please

Quite a coincindence but Winifred Pike in Wrexham in 1911 with husband Thomas  was born in Bryneglwys.
Her parents and other family  are named on the site. It may help eliminate them if they are the wrong family
