Two words evade me - 1681 Baptism
« on: Tuesday 24 January 23 08:16 GMT (UK) »
Hello Experts,

I have two words I am unsure about: the first I underlined red. The second follows "baptizat".

I am wondering if you think the first word might be "junr" with the R ending in a flourish. If it's Junr that help may me locate the next generation back perhaps.

And is the second word "first"?

I can provide more writing if needed, at a later time. Your help is much appreciated!

Thanks Steve and 'fuit' makes sense. (You wouldn't think I learnt Latin at school - must be a hundred years ago now!)
