Thanks to everyone.

That would make more sense - I can't find anything on a 'B.CAM'.

Irene's father was General Manager of a huge Company in Perth, so perhaps she was being prepared to work in the Business.

If so, it didn't work out that way. The only reference I have to her qualifications is a newspaper item reporting her marriage. They are not mentioned again, nor is any occupation.

Her husband was a GP, however, so perhaps she (unpaid) managed his practice for him.

Since she was born and raised in Perth, perhaps St. Andrew's or Edinburgh Universities would be a good place for me to check.

I have attached the relevant clipping.

An article about the marriage in the Perthshire Advertiser, 1st March 1933, states that she was ‘educated at Edinburgh University where she graduated M.A., B. Com.’

Yes there are other announcements recording her bachelor's degree as B.Com. The Perthshire Advertiser report is very detailed and has a photo of the happy couple.

Just to add that Scottish M.As are often a first degree rather than a  post-graduate one.

Quote
The degree of Master of Arts (MA; Scots: Maister o Arts,[1][2] Scottish Gaelic: Maighstir nan Ealan)[3][4] in Scotland is an undergraduate degree.

Wiki explains this in more detail and it depends on which university was attended:
