Alfred & Mary Ann Potter (Nee Robinson) Kelsey Bridge Near Boston, Lincs (1921)

Alfred Potter b 1871/d 1957 and Mary Ann Potter b 1876/d 1944 were living in Kelsey Bridge, Near Boston in 1921. They also had a "Nurse Child" Julia Ann Wright who was born in Friskney (age 11 months) living with them. Both her parents were alive at the time. I am trying to trace anyone who may have any information about this arrangement and what happened to Julia subsequently. She next appears in records in 1939 so I have a time-gap to fill.

See my reply above & freebmd - there is no birth for a Julia Ann Wright in 1920 in Lincolnshire so how have you managed to find her parents?  If she was 11mths old on the 1921 entry she must have been born in 1920

You say she is on the 1939 register - under what surname & what is her birthdate?

Thankyou-It has been a complex search but I have ascertained Julia's birth details etc. I am not looking to verify that information-I am looking for someone who may remember Julia living with the Potter family, or have information regarding this arrangement passed down the family. I don't think it is anything that can be reconciled by records until we get access to the 1931 census.(unless a local school has kept pupil records from that time)

Sadly, the 1931 Census was destroyed in a fire in 1942.
