Hi, on a 1939 census i've noted someone has next to them RAF B.B. Sqadron 91 84852. They lived in birmingham.
Can anyone tell me anything about this please?

Was that in the occupation column?  If so - that was his occupation at the time. 

If he was in a household - he may have been on leave

The service number you wrote is a digit too short, and the 91 Squadron wasn't formed until 1941.
Could you mean 848521  of the RAF 912  Balloon Squadron?
If so, the 912 was part of the Birmingham Barrage Balloon Squadrons, and 848521 was "stationed" in Sutton, Coldfield.

No it was in a cloumn to the right of the occupation
