I thought it was their son Robert Craill who went to NZ, likewise I would like to know more on Henry Craill's ancestry.

Hi Greg and welcome to Rootschat  :),
I've had a look for Henry and Robert on the 1841 Census and cannot find them :-\
Do you have any further info which may help locate them. For instance can I clarify from the original post - was it Robert who was born circa Feb 1832 at Ballachulish? And did Robert travel alone to NZ or with family and was the year of travel 1853?
Looby :)

Hi, As far as I know Robert travelled by himself to NZ. Will try to check dates. He was possibly enrolled in the coast guard in scotland/england. But at the time my late father was checking that the coastguard were relocating and all records were unavailable.

There was a "story" (unconfirmed) that 2 Craill brothers went from UK via south africa and 1 of them stayed in africa. But this may be unrelated.

There was evidently a Robert Craill that was one of the early students at the Bible Institute of South Africa (1927-1928), incidentally, referencing the above mention of Craills in South Africa.  https://www.bisa-past-students.org.za/index.php/component/content/article/2-uncategorised/15-year-of-1927?Itemid=101
