Né en la commune de la Cochère, canton de Nonant, département de l’Orne, le six septembre mil sept cent soixante-trois, du mariage de André Fortier & Renée Poulin décedée, d’une part & Marianne Morin, lingère domiciliée Rüe de la Pie No 9. Née en la commune du Breuil, canton de Mézidon, département du Calvados, le dix-huit février mil sept cent soixante-cinq du mariage de Louis Morin décedé & de Marie-Anne Cosnard, domiciliée en laditte commune. Lesquels comparants ont declaré n'avoir contracté aucun autre mariage d’autre part & après que lecture a été faite de leurs actes de naissance, et du mariage, aux lieux prescrit par la loy, le quatre de ce mois sans qu’il soit survenu d’opposition, ont en présence des témoins y après désigner declaré réciproquement & à haute voix se prendre en mariage après laquelle j’ay prononcé au nom de la loy que André Fortier, & Marie-Anne Morin, sont unis en mariage & j’en ai de suite redigé acte presence des époux & de Jean Genies, âgé de trente-deux ans, tailleur, Rüe Ganterie No 81, de Jean Christophe François Blanche, âgé de vingt-neuf ans, chirurgien, Rüe de l’Epée No 46, de Pierre Lefebvre, âgé de trente-sept ans, fabricant, Boulevard Cauchon No 35, & de Louis Lavernes, âgé de vingt-six ans, marchand épicier, Rüe aux Juifs No 27, aussi des époux. Tous quatre témoins qui ainsy que les époux ont signé avec moy lecture faite l’an & jour surdite.

The eighth year of the French Republic, on the tenth of Nivôse in the morning before the undersigned President of the municipal administration of the commune of Rouen accompanied by the chief secretary, appeared in the decadal temple, André Fortier, tailor domiciled in Rüe Ganterie No 82. Born in the commune of La Cochère, canton of Nonant, department of Orne, on the sixth of September, one thousand seven hundred and sixty-three, from the marriage of André Fortier & Renée Poulin, deceased, on the one hand, & Marianne Morin, seamstress, domiciled in Rüe de la Pie No 9. Born in the commune of le Breuil, canton of Mézidon, department of Calvados, on the eighteenth day of February, one thousand seven hundred and sixty-five, of the marriage of Louis Morin, deceased, & Marie-Anne Cosnard, domiciled in the said commune. The parties declaring that they have not contracted any other marriage on the other hand & after the reading of their birth certificates, and of the marriage, in the places prescribed by the law, on the fourth of this month without any opposition, have in the presence of the witnesses after having designated them, declared reciprocally & in a loud voice that they are to be married, after which I have pronounced in the name of the law that André Fortier, & Marie-Anne Morin, are united in marriage & I have subsequently drawn up a Certificate in the presence of the spouses & Jean Genies, aged thirty-two years, tailor, Rüe Ganterie No 81, Jean Christophe François Blanche, aged twenty-nine years, surgeon, Rüe de l'Epée No 46, of Pierre Lefebvre, aged thirty-seven years, manufacturer, Boulevard Cauchon No 35, & of Louis Lavernes, aged twenty-six years, grocer, Rüe aux Juifs No 27, also of the spouses. All four witnesses who, like the spouses, have signed with me, the reading made in the year & day above.
