Help with Death details 1859

Attached is a poor quality clip from the death register of my 3x Great-Aunt Catherine Kirk.
I struggled to make out some details but I think I may have finally cracked it.
I'm looking for confirmation or any other suggestions if I'm wrong.
I have the date as 20/11/1859 at Roughtree, which is in Irongray, Kirkcudbrightshire.
The other part I need confirmed is the cause of death which I read as Consumption - several years.
As I said, any alternative suggestions will be welcomed.

I would agree with all the remarks you have made.  Date is as you stated as is the cause of death.

Some images from Scotland's People can be difficult to decipher.  I believe you can ask them to see if they can provide you with a better image.

I agree with what you have written. In fairness to ScotlandsPeople, the ink on the original registers can be somewhat faded and the handwriting is not always the clearest.
