Edward A Wilson

Looking for information on Edward A Wilson, born Belfast 1923. He was the youngest of the five sons of William J Wilson and Jessie (Johnston) Wilson. He joined the RAF and on leaving lived in England, possibly, (but only anecdotal), to Norfolk.

Hi Donard

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

There is a family tree on Ancestry which I think might connect to him. Was his middle name Alexander and birth in February?

If so, possible marriage to an Irene Cooper. There is a marriage on the index with these names showing in Hammersmith London, 3rd Qrt, Vol. 5c/ pg 1952.

His death is given as 3 Dec 1968  Ambrosden, Oxfordshire (Refs. 4th Qrt Ploughley, Oxfordshire. Vol 6b/ pg 1190).

Not any further details on there.

Monica

Hi Monica. Thanks for the response. He is Edward Alexander Wilson, born 27 February 1923 in 57 Parkmount Street, Belfast. The brothers, in birth order, are William, Hill, George, David, John and Edward. Edward was one of my uncles but we lost contact with him in the early 1950's.
