Help requested to decipher year and date in Latin
« on: Tuesday 07 March 23 16:42 GMT (UK) »
Hi roots chat Members,

I previously transcribed the English on a plaintiff's Chancery bill and that was dated in English – 25 May 1680.

I just realised that the defendant's reply isn't dated in English but there is a footnote at the bottom of the answer in Latin of what looks like it might be the date?
I attached a screenshot of the footnote and hoping that someone can transcribe the date for me?

Thanks.

The date is 19 October 1680.

… decimo nono die Octobris Anno R(egi)s Caroli
s(e)c(un)di Tricessimo s(e)c(un)do …

… on the nineteenth day of October in the 32nd year of King Charles II …

Many thanks Bookbox

I figured it was October but not the day of the month or the year but thought it should be 1680 or 1681 but now I know.
