Clarendon,NB,Canada-Looking for History of Community
« on: Sunday 12 March 23 01:23 GMT (UK) »
Seeking information on the history of Clarendon,Queens,N.B.,Canada. It is a small, dispersed community in New Brunswick that was mostly made up of farmers and partly expropriated by Base Gagetown (at least including the cemetery). At one time it had its own train station,a store and a small Methodist church has sat abandoned on a nearby loop road for at least forty or fifty years. There is no longer anyone alive who can shed some light on what Clarendon used to be. As I have maternal roots there,I guess I'm just looking for general information and history.
