« on: Saturday 18 March 23 08:24 GMT (UK) »
Hi folks, another Cantrell wiil, this one of Thomas Cantrell of Sheen 1605. We can't work out the relational relevance of 'Joan' and the following Elizabeth and then Thomas the son of Henry... - 'I give and bequeath unto Joan...., etc

We are getting better at reading secretary hand but have ground to a halt with part of this so thank you helping

You have Joan Percivall, Elizabeth Percivall and Anne Percivall who I think get ten shillings between them. Then Thomas Percivall the son of Henrie Percivall who gets three shillings and four pence. Maybe Joan, Elizabeth, Anne, and Henrie were siblings. Ray

Thank very much both of you, your skill and helpfulness is really appreciated. There's no way we would ever have got Percival out of that but can see it now, and its really helping us to get better at deciphering.
