Declaration of intention Massachuttes 19th December 1929 giving her address as 8 Bigelow St Cambridge Middlesex MA. Any information i.e Marriage Death etc would be welcome. Thank you

Newspapers.com has an obituary for either Margaret Scannell, maiden name Sullivan, or her husband. The listing I can see doesn't give a date, and I don't have a subscription.
Her death notice probably won't name nieces, but you never know.

Thank you Margaret Scannell maiden name Sullivan seems correct as Marys mothers maiden name was Sullivan.

I do not have any knowledge that Mary may have returned to Ireland. I am thinking if she married she would be recorded under a different surname in the Census. THank you for your post

More ideas, no solutions:
Mary Lehane went through the naturalization process about as fast as you could. Why? Most women didn't bother at all, and the few I've seen did so after being here many years.
You had to stay in one place for a certain time, I think, before being naturalized. Did she have plans to move somewhere else in the U.S. and did she?
Or her next job could have been somewhere nearby, but not Cambridge. I haven't looked for her outside of Cambridge yet.
My first guess is that her naturalization shows she planned to stay in the U.S., but - a longshot - was there any reason to come here, become a citizen, and then return to Ireland? Or would the citizenship open the way to something she couldn't do with only an Irish passport? On the other hand, I've never seen that pattern before, so probably not.

At least you know she was still single in October 1933, which might narrow the hunt down a little.
