Where did you get it from as you must have known his surname to download it?  What year & county?

Looks like Tunnicliffe to me

Is Joseph's suname Tunnicliffe?

Looks like Joseph Tunnicliffe to me not sure of surname for Sarah  ???

I agree with Tunnicliffe (possibly Tunnecliffe), and Sarah's surname might be Tindall or Sindall, with an extra 'l' inserted - she doesn't look to have been a very confident writer.

However, with a register of this pattern, the names should also be at the top of the entry, written out by the minister or clerk - and hopefully fairly legible.

hi, thanks.  the marriage certificate has the names the wrong way round.  the witnesses, who i'm trying to se if are any relatives to the groom Willian Bratt  have signed in the place of of bride and groom. bride and groom are in the witness space!  thanks for your help.

Ah, I see. Anyway, we seem to be of one mind on Tunnicliffe (or slight variant) - see if any other thoughts come in for Sarah.
