what what his occupation please? 1841, mining area, Durham

Hi,
Am having trouble deciphering John Robinson's occupation on the 1841 census and would be grateful for your advice. I think it starts with a P, because the letter is the same as the area name, top left which is Pontop. It's a heavy mining area but also some cotton and farming.

Original census doc is : (7th name down the left hand page) : https://www.ancestry.co.uk/imageviewer/collections/8978/images/DURHO107_301_302-0140?pId=4419841

Thank you!
