I am seeking assistance in finding information on his lady,s ancestry.
Born in 1910 died 1975 Southsea... Father Henry James Baseley 1872-1947
Mother in GRO as Rosa Tingey 1874- 1946 (no marriage?)
Her mother in GRO as Pharoah...??
Confusing!  As always any assistance greatly appreciated.

The GRO indexes only give surnames, not first names for parents.

Thanks Debra! Its early here in Malta with a crashed laptop so tryng to use a tablet hence confusion.. This marriage not picked up by Ancestry! Other names but not this one...thanks again..David

Going back..this is another part of the enquiry..Rosa Tingey's father shown as William Humphrey Pepperall 1832- 1913..so where does the name Tingey come from with mother with surname Pharoah?

Looking at the 1881 census - William PEPPERILL is Rosa TINGEY's grandfather.

Whilst the 1901 and 1911 census shows William PEPPERILL as Rosa's father, as I mentioned above - the 1881 shows her as grandchild, and the 1891 as "boarder" with him.

to Rosa Baseley (wife of Henry James Baseley).  Effects £ 125  5s.
