help finding crilly family history

im trying to find any help with history in ireland i know my 3rd great grandmother was born in ireland in 1834 and married hugh boyd in around 1860.
 but i know nothing more there is the name rodgers in her daughters name who was born in scotland my 3rd great grandmother died in scotland in 1879 but no names on death certificate for her parents i hope someone could help me ive looked on many sites and keep hitting brick walls with this  her name was agnes boyd  (nee) crilly/crelly born around 1834 and died in scotland in 1879 aged 45
her daughter was agnes rodger boyd born 1874 and married james craig ridell they had 3 children all together and one of those children was my great granfathe james boyd riddell who died in italy

hope some one can help ive also been on roots ireland and cant find nothing not even the marriage etc

Where did the marriage to Hugh Boyd take place?

NB Agnes can be a 'short' form/diminutive for Nancy/Ann/e etc

Agnes Boyd / Agnes McCreely death registration in Carluke 1879 (age 40)  ref 629 / 97
I assume death was a result of childbirth? – Martha born in 1879, being cared for in 1881 by Margaret Maloy.

If her age at death is correct, that puts her birth around 1839 (not 1834).

In 1871 Hugh and Agnes have no children with them, he is 28 and she is 37.  In 1881 Hugh is now aged 43 and has two children, James aged 8, and Agnes aged 7.

Agnes' age on her death registration in 1879 is 40, not 45. 

From this you can see that there are some major problems with knowing exactly how old Hugh and Agnes were.

The birth certificates for the children should have a date and place of marriage for the parents, do you have that?  I doubt that they would have been married in 1860.

Baptisms for Mary and Rose name Agnes as Nancy and I assume that James is the child registered as Hugh.  I cannot see deaths for the second Mary and Rose Ann.

The second Mary is in hospital in 1881 and Martha is boarding with the MALOY family.

They had 4 sons, William Boyd RIDDELL was born and died in 1902.

In case you are not aware there are Catholic baptisms for the following children
of Hugh and Nancy BOYDE at CARLUKE, ST ATHANASIUS'

MARY born 17-7-1867

SARAH born 14-4-1869

AGNES born 25-2-1874

MARY born 7-1-1876

MARTHA born 4-5-1879

Sometimes baptism records can provide some additional useful information, such as names of Godparents/ Sponsors.
