Robert Turner Birth or baptism 5 Nov 1702
« on: Saturday 22 April 23 16:57 BST (UK) »
I have a birth or baptism for a Robert Turner.  I believe he is my 5th great grandfather.

It looks like his father was William but the remainder is a challenge to read.

Hopeful someone can read this snip on the document.

Many thanks

I agree arthurk.
It mentions the son Robert first, with his two witnesses, then the daughter Mary with her two witnesses.
It might have been helpful to say where the entry came from - is it a Scottish entry mcadamsd?

Surely the date above it is Nov 15? - You have written Nov 5 in the heading of your post.

The entry comes from Keith in Banffshire as I recognise one of the witnesses. The witnesses are:

R[obert] Mitchell
Mr Rob[er]t Blinshell - Mr tells us he has an M.A. degree. He was schoolmaster at Keith
Thomas Smith
Alex[ande]r Lesly [= Leslie] in kinminnity [today = Kinminitie]

Thanks all for the feedback

As mentioned the date is 15th and I mistyped.

The document is indeed from Keith, Banffshire, Scotland.

Does the document having both Robert and Mary indicate twins?

I think if they had been twins the entry would probably have said 'twin children' not 'two children'. But they might be.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
