Perhaps it would be worth looking through the register to see if there are any other children born to parents in the same location.
In a way that's why I'm asking for opinions, as I'm hoping that this is the baptism of my 4xG Grandfather. The only information I have is his name (from my 3xG Grandfather's non conformist baptism), an approximate year of birth (based on his wife's age at death), and an assumption that he was born around the Tweedmouth area.
I found a female with the right surname baptised at Spittal in 1767 and it was this that led me to George in 1765. He has the same abode as the 1767 baptism and I
think I can see the surname I'm looking for, but as it might just be wishful thinking I was hoping that another pair of eyes might see the same thing.
I've since realised that familysearch appears to have indexed the baptism as being at Tweedmouth, with his name transcribed as George Collier, father Thomas.
