Gardiner/Gardner Or Finney
« on: Monday 08 May 23 18:21 BST (UK) »
Ok, this is a bit confusing!

I have Martha Bingham Marry Robert Gardiner looking at the Marriage certificate
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1881/11015/8027624.pdf

Father Thomas Finney /Feeny

I Have then found the Birth of a Unknown Female Gardiner/Finney Daughter of Robert and Martha

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1883/02752/2011194.pdf

I can not find what happens next she does not appear in the 1901 census and can not find a death does anyone have any ideas ?

I have found they have 2 more boys both died young and another daughter called Annie who I believe Samuel Taggart.
Any ideas would be really appreciated

Where was the family in 1901 and 1911? 1911 census asked married women how many years married, how many children and how many children living.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

The 1911 census numbers (4 Born, 1 Living) don't add up... If I'm reading you right:

- Unknown b.1883 presumed died early - death maybe not registered if shortly after birth;
- James b.1892 d.1892;
- Thomas b. 1895 d.1895;
- Martha b.1898 died 1898;
- Annie the 9 year old in the 1911 census.

So provisionally 5 Born, 1 Living... have you found Annie's birth, is she definitely their biological daughter?

If you don't find one and given the circumstances of all the previous births, you may have to consider the possibility that she wasn't their born daughter.
