a Latin will for Simon Noble
« on: Wednesday 10 May 23 21:53 BST (UK) »
Kia ora
I have attached the whole will in three sections but I would just really appreciate the names of the people in this will.  I have put the ones underneath each section that I can identify.
But I would also like to know what this man's role is in this will as he is mentioned several times.
Johannes Bennet Militon.
I am attaching section 3 separately.
Nga mihi nui (very best wishes)

It isn't a will. It's a Judicial Sentence pronouncing on the validity of the will of Simon Noble.

Sir John Bennett is the judge with authority to act for the probate court and to issue the judgment. He is a Knight (militem).

This document is nearly all common form and will tell you nothing about the contents of the will, nor details of any dispute. But you should be able to find the will itself elsewhere, and it should be in English.

Sorry I've no more time today.

Part 1:
Not a will, but a sentence.
Sir John Bennett, doctor of law (presiding)
refers to will of the late Simon Noble, of Bynacre, Wilts.
Sir John Jennins, executor
Thomas Noble, Richard Noble, and Elizabeth Noble, brothers and sister, natural and legitimate
