Help with deciphering an occupation please
« on: Sunday 14 May 23 15:10 BST (UK) »
Hello Everyone,

I wonder if anyone could kindly decipher what they think is the occupation of the 13 year old Clara Anne on the copy of the 1901 census please.

It looks something like 'Stocking handler' -- but it's the word I think looks like 'handler' which I am not sure of.

Many thanks for looking.
