marriage c.1910 - COMPLETED
« on: Thursday 08 September 05 17:24 BST (UK) »
Looking for the marriage between Thomas Berry and Margaret Byrne c. 1910.

Their son William Patrick Berry (my late grandfather) b.c. 1915 always believed the family came from Tullow.

regards

May we have some more information please. Would this family be Anglican or Roman Catholic ? Such information may save researchers a lot of time. Time saved may then be utilised to assist someone else who is researching their ancestors.

Thank you for your prompt reply Myfi!

There is no sign of any family by the name of Berry in Co. Carlow at the time of Griffiths Valuation of Ireland 1848 - 64. Better news for you with the name Byrne though. Carlow is near the top of the list for people with that surname. Your greatgrand father obviously married a Co. Carlow girl. The next move appears to be to establish that there were families by the name of Byrne in Tullow in the late 1800s early 1900s
