You can’t search Berlin births after 1908 on Ancestry but you can search for Marriages until 1936 and they are indexed.

Using Ancestry.com, I found 1 result:

Marriage - March 14th, 1918
Aron KLEINMANN & Emma HENSELEIT
https://www.rootschat.com/links/01sbi/

Here is the Information:

Aron Kleinmann was born on March 13th, 1894. His mother was Malka Kleinmann (maiden surname not mentioned).

Emma Henseleit was born on February 1st, 1896. Her father was Friedrich Wilhelm Henseleit & mother was Philippine Henseleit (maiden surname not mentioned).

It seems that Aron's father was deceased at the time of Marriage.

Would suggest you start by downloading his wife's will to see what mention there is of the daughters - particularly their married names

Because of the surname spelling - consider buying his marriage cert to confirm his fathers name was Aaron.   What was his mothers name & maiden name from the birth cert?

Use any info found to see if the daughters are still alive or if they had any children.  If you can make contact with them it may save a lot of hassle with German documents.  Both daughters were adults when Benjamin died so should have some info

This is a Birth record for Elias (Aron’s younger brother) in 1895:

https://www.rootschat.com/links/01sbj/

It lists his father as Szoja Kleinmann & Mother as Malka (as mentioned before and again no maiden name).

Also, there are no records of Kleinmann before 1895, so I suspect that they immigrated at that time from Poland or some Jewish Country.

I found a Schaje (Szaja) Kleinmann married to Malka Jonas on August 16th, 1892 in Dombrowa, Poland (JewishGen).

Schaje’s parents were Eliasz Kleinmann & Basza (No Maiden name).

Malka’s parents were Kalman Jonas & Keila Itla.

There is a Family Tree where Malka is mentioned in:

https://www.rootschat.com/links/01sbu/

From the Family Tree, This is what I got:

Malka Jonas Married Szaja Kleinmann on August 16th, 1892.

Szaja was born in January of 1853 in Dombrowa.

Malka was born on February 1st, 1864 & died on January 8th, 1943 in Theresienstadt.

Parents: Kalman JONAS & Kayla Jutla PELIKAN

It seems that Malka died in Theresienstadt in a Prison.
