Many thanks for help so far ;D

"Madge" was as far as I can remember my dad's cousin, or so rumour has it

I have no idea which side of the family she's from ??? Dad's Dad Or Dad's Mum

I was born in 1953 [whoops, secrets out] and I can remember visiting her as a young child so possibly around early to mid '60's

She was married to James[Jimmy] Dow/Dale
They had 2 children James & Eric
James I know married Aileen and they emigrated to Arizona

James Snr Had a Business transporting fish from Aberdeen to London & trust me there have been umpteen Red Herrings so far
I have tried Scotland online to try to trace them but this is obvisiously too recent to be online

I am desperately trying to find my grandparents birth certs and although I am going round and round If I could trace "Madge" it might give me a clue

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Regards
Jean

Hi Jean, I doubt you will even get notified about this message but if so please get in touch. I am a relative of Madge and Jimmy (both long deceased) and can try and help you with your search. Thank you.

Hi, It has been a very long time since this thread was posted . I have not continued with my family tree  for a very long time as I hit a very high brick wall.

I would be very interested in the latest response that has been posted with regards to Madge and Jimmy It may well remove a brick or two for me . Please get in touch with me .

Many Thanks
