This shows the modern map and Llyn Brianne. Cribin is now markerd 1 and 2. No 1 is certainly under Llyn Brianne. Click on Tithe map overlay to confirm location.
2. Untick Tithe map overlay and click on 1888 map. You already have this. The buildings have disappeared and just noticed a "Ford" (Rhyd in Welsh) marked near Clyn-glas.

I can see it  :) ;D
I wouldnt have thought to overlay the 1888 map
Maybe only 600 feet below the building marked to the right of field no 21 (for Cribin farm) on the tithe map

Out of interest google maps shows a few images of Fannog farmhouse ruins when the water level has been low.

I read a lot yesterday about the building of Llyn Brianne which included looking at old photos of the area, Fannog farmhouse re-appearing when the level sinks because of drought.
I'm a beneficiary of the development drinking Llyn Brianne water daily!

Thanks for the post.
