Earle Family England
« on: Tuesday 30 May 23 09:03 BST (UK) »
Hello everyone on this chilly winter day here in SA
I am looking for more information on the parents of:
William George Earle B: 01 Sep 1809 Yorkshire, England – D 27 May 1892 Winburg, Orange Free State, South Africa)
I do have he’s 3 Marriage, name and date as well his 15 kids. I do have the name of his parents, but something feels a bit off about the ages of his “parents” when they have William and his Siblings.
Father: William Earle: B 27/03/1775 or B 07/03/1774 Dover, Kent, England, United Kingdom (I have two dates but the one that come up the most is 1775)
Mother: Ann/Anne? B 1780 (the records that I have look at just state her surname as Earle, so don’t know if they just gave the married name or if Earle is her maiden name)
According to Family search site William/Ann had 8 Kids form 1796 – 1814, but I have learned that Family search is not always accurate

Thank you in advance

With that information, I found his Death Certificate:

It says he was born in Europe, but not specifically.

Another Record (I guess it’s a will???):

- Kiernan from County Meath
- Kelly from County Kildare
- Donnelly from County Tyrone
- McKenna from County Tyrone/Moghanan

Yes Familysearch is not always accurate if it is submitted record and not actual Parish Records.

I realise you want to try and take William Georges anc back further.

But you need an accurate place of birth and baptism for him to do that.
