« on: Wednesday 31 May 23 23:08 BST (UK) »
Tracing Alexander Keogh last siting was in Belfast in 1901 where he had a daughter called Frances.  He married Mary Ann Clarke.  Alexander vanished between 1901 and 1909 as Mary Clarke Re married to  Francis  Gregory in Drogheda in 1909.  As far as we know we told that he emigrated to America any help would be very great full.

Where & when was the Clarke/Keogh marriage?

What was Frances’s full birthdate in 1901 (if known)

What was Mary’s marital status when she married Francis Gregory?

American census for 1910 onwards are available free here
1910. https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1727033
1920. https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1488411
1930. https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1810731

Can’t see any match in Ireland in 1911 for Mary & Francis Gregory or daughter Frances under either Keogh or Gregory.  Where were they living in 1911?

Mary Clarke Re married to  Francis  Gregory in Drogheda in 1909

Marriage certificate:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1909/10026/5646971.pdf

She married under the name Clarke, but no marital status was provided. Her father was Marks [sic] Clarke.

In 1911, it looks like she is with her husband Francis in Louth:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai002918281/

There is no Frances (who would only be 10) with her.

Her age is listed as 31 (so estimated birth year 1880), with her birth place given as County Louth. A Patrick Branigan is lodging with the family.

Based on all the information above, there is this birth registration for Mary:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1879/02896/2061447.pdf

[Alexander] married Mary Ann Clarke.

How do you know this? There is no marriage record that I can find.

What I am struggling to see is how you have linked this Mary Anne to the Mary Anne, mother of Frances, but maybe I'm missing something here...

Is this a family story that has been passed down? Is there any other supporting documentation you have or anything else you can add?

Queenie  :)

There is no Alexander Keogh on the 1901 Irish census

1911 shows both Mary Kate & Francis Gregory were b Louth.

Where is daughter Frances in 1911?

The informant on Frances’ birth is Mary Anne Clarke which appears to be this woman married to Bernard Clarke, note they are from Louth.
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Antrim/Smithfield/Cinnamond_Street/972864/

Their son John’s birth gives Mary Ann’s name as Harmon.
Bernard and MaryAnn married in 1895, his father is Mark
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1895/10535/5837412.pdf
Bernard’s birth, he is Mary Ann’s brother.
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1895/10535/5837412.pdf

I don’t think Mary Ann was married to Alexander, and it is likely she was only in Antrim to give birth, Frances may have been adopted.
Mary Ann’s baptism is difficult to read but from what I can see only one marriage is noted.
